Happiness Project
At the beginning of the semester we started out by reading Brave New World and figuring out what the characters in the book and the authors happiness was at. We learned about the differences between what it meant between our happiness and ours. We annotated the book to show we we learned and also what things stood out for us. After we finished that we started building background knowledge about annotated bibliographies. We researched different was people experience happiness and what they though was happiness. After that we researched on our own questions that we came up with. We discovered what we thought was the most important part of happiness. We created experiments thats went along with our questions, something that could change our everyday looks of life that could make us happier. The last step to this project was our videos that explained our final opinions of our refined question. The video was very fun and it helped me understand everyones overviews of the Truth of Happiness.

Project Reflection
Social bonding and connecting with others is the Truth of Happiness for me. There are many different ways that we came to that conclusion. We knew at first that connections were a huge part of happiness, but as we moved through the project I discovered that it truly is the meaning of happiness. Personally I agree with this A LOT because without anyone in my life, no connections I would go insane. As Stephen said in a fellow video, “sometimes you just need to laugh.” If you don't connect with anyone, you can’t truly do that.
The greatest challenges that we faced throughout the video making process was the final editing. The entire filming and scripting process was really easy and everyone worked well together. The editing was very confusing and it was really hard to like what we were doing in Photoshop. The part that was probably the most frustrating was getting the music to be the right noise, place and the overall right music. There was one small part that was very frustrating. We ended up just getting over the small error that we had in our video. The thing was that only we could tell what the error was, no one even noticed it. Overall the project ran very smoothly and I learned a lot about my peers and what works well in group work.
I have grown immensely in this project because it showed my different things about my peers, but it also showed me different aspects of happiness. I was very happy with the choice of all of my partners. We all work very well together. We never really got into arguments but when we did we would just let it go because there is no paint in arguing with you group members. You are going to have to work with them anyway so I tried my best to just go with the flow. We all were very involved in the project. We went downtown a lot to film for the video and we scheduled a meeting with a professional. I think that having group members that are your friends helps a lot because you can really just get things done nicely with people that are close to you without it being so weird when trying to finish something important.
The one thing that I would refine from this project would be my Annotated bibliography because it was the kind of assignment that gets very repetitive after a while and I seemed to “Not Care” after a while. That is not a trate I would like to have with my school work. I felt this way because all of the questions where the same and the answer where usually most likely similar to each other. The things that I would refine would be that I would fix my last few answers for all of them. I would want to make them more interesting for other people to read as well as interesting for me to read and be proud of. I think that if I could have done that I would have been more excited and ready to move on through the video project.
